These are super-efficient and compact batteries and are very popular for their compact size, high density, and longer lifespan. These batteries are commonly used to pair with solar panels, hybrid inverters, and on-grid inverters. Moreover, they are the most reliable partner of electric vehicles and consumer electronics like laptops, mobile phones, and wearable gadgets. 

The Impact of Lithium Batteries on the Environment:

1- Mining of Raw Materials and Lithium:

After completing the life cycle effectively, the lithium batteries become hazardous waste. They can become a serious environmental threat if not recycled properly. Advancements must be made to produce solid-state batteries that are safer and more sustainable. Many alternatives to lithium batteries, like sodium-ion batteries, should be brought into practice to reduce dependency on lithium batteries.  

2-Battery Recycling Programs:

Industries and governments must establish and support some battery collection and recycling centers, making it convenient for citizens to dispose of the batteries in the right place. Public awareness must be spread about the proper disposal and recycling of lithium batteries. 

3- Second Life Applications:

We must practice implementing second-life applications for lithium batteries. Used batteries can be reused for solar solutions and on-grid inverters. Old batteries can be used in a backup power system instead of being disposed of.

4- Proper Maintenance:
