I want to Register/Search/File a Claim for my Battery

1. Warranty Duration:

a. Badar Energy offers a 5-year warranty, starting from the date of delivery or the manufacturing date plus an additional 3 months, whichever is later. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and performance degradation.

2. Coverage:

a. The warranty covers the replacement of faulty cells with a new battery and the repair of battery components (e.g., BMS, buttons) that are found to have manufacturing defects or performance issues during the warranty period.

b. The warranty applies exclusively to Badar Energy-branded lithium-ion batteries used in appropriate applications.

3. Conditions for Valid Warranty:

a. Battery Usage: To maintain warranty validity, battery usage must follow the manufacturer’s guidelines, which include:

  1. A maximum of one discharge cycle per day and 80% depth of discharge.
  2. Usage within a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C. Exceeding 60°C will void the warranty.
  3. The battery must not be exposed to physical damage, including impacts, punctures, or tampering.

4. Temperature Factors:

a. For optimal performance, keep the battery within the following temperature ranges:

  1. 0°C to 30°C: 100% performance.
  2. 31°C to 40°C: Performance reduced to 80%.
  3. 41°C to 60°C: Performance reduced to 50%.
  4. Above 60°C: Warranty is void.

5. Storage Requirements:

a. The battery should be stored with a 50% state of charge (SOC) in an environment with temperatures between 0°C and 40°C.

b. For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge and discharge the battery every 6 months to maintain performance.

6. Exclusions:

Physical Damage: Badar Energy is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper handling, installation, accidents, or external disasters.

Improper Installation: The warranty is void if the battery is not installed according to Badar Energy’s specifications, or if the system is improperly configured.

Non-Compliant Usage: Damage caused by overcharging, undercharging, or using the battery outside of the recommended specifications (e.g., exceeding charging current limits or exposure to extreme temperatures) is excluded.

External Repairs: Any repairs carried out by third parties or external technicians will void the warranty.

7. Maintenance and Operation:

a. Regular maintenance should include monitoring the battery’s performance and maintaining operational logs, such as discharge cycles, charge history, and temperature conditions.

b. Voltage settings, charging parameters, and rectifier settings must comply with Badar Energy’s published guidelines.

8. Warranty Claims:

a. In the event of a warranty claim, Badar Energy reserves the right to inspect the battery to verify the defect. The battery must be returned for inspection before any replacement or repair is considered.

b. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs related to warranty claims unless otherwise agreed upon.

9. Battery Replacement:

a. If a defect is found and verified by Badar Energy, the defective battery will be replaced or repaired at the manufacturer’s discretion.

b. Replacements will be provided with batteries of similar or upgraded specifications, depending on product availability.

10. Limitation of Liability:

a. Badar Energy is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from battery failure, including but not limited to loss of business, downtime, or damage to other equipment.

b. Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the battery as outlined in these warranty terms.

11. Product Registration:

a. The warranty is only valid if the product is registered with Badar Energy within 30 days of installation. The customer must submit the purchase receipt and provide basic installation details to complete the registration process.
